STOLEN ITEMSI used NMT to transport my car from Canberra to Perth. As per the instructions from NMT, I had placed a box in my boot shielded from view by a cargo blinder. Upon receiving my car I found that the box had been ransacked and a number of perfumes had been stolen. The items were heavily concealed and the only way to have found them would be to completely unpack and thoroughly search the box.I reported this to NMT and they just relayed company policy to clear themselves of any liability, didn't seem to really care. In their policy they mention that NMT simply suggests" not to place any items in the car however no one really anticipates their items to be ransacked the way mine were

THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF - STAY AWAY~!!Dealt with a guy name cecil fedai, who calls himself an operations manager!This guy should never be allowed on the phone! Very unprofessional, also writes some very condescending emails.Make sure when you are importing the Manufacturere/ exporter sends freight directly to yourself (DO NOT USE A FREIGHT CONSOLIDATOR), otherwise it will go through a company like this (who charged me nearly $300, for doing nothing!) A few weeks later I imported a much larger shipment and only got charged $170 (nearly half of what Manton charged).This guy Cecil fedai" is a complete joke

The service was for a delivery aid a mini excavator which was about 19km. I was charged $2200. I believe it was excessive. Unfortunately the money was already deposited and when I received two other quotes I realized the amount I had paid was almost double. I asked for a refund but they said I shouldn’t have her this company. I would definitely not use this company again.
